Migraine headaches are pulsating headache, where the blood vessels in the brain. Pain is felt when these blood vessels expand or contract to be excessive. Studies have shown that the expansion and contraction of blood vessels are affected by a chemical in our body called serotonin. A high level of serotonin in the blood causes our blood vessels to contract or shrink. Conversely, if the level is low, it will cause our blood vessels to expand or extend. Different people react differently to this extension and expansion. Migraine symptoms vary from person to person. They can vary from a light sensitivity of feeling tired or experience some tension or slight discomfort on your eyes. Even slight blurred vision or nausea or a general feeling of tiredness can tell fairy-tale symptoms. More serious consequences can be a pain in thimbles, pain in the jaw area, a continuous view of the head, as if it might burst.
